PARTNER VENUE SPOTLIGHT: DANIEL’S VINEYARD

If you are an engaged couple looking for a picture-perfect vineyard wedding venue but are unable to fly to Napa Valley, you will be pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful vineyard right here in Central Indiana. For all the Indiana brides looking for a super chic winery venue, look no further than Jonathan Byrd’s newest Partner Venue: Daniel’s Vineyard.

Daniel’s Vineyard is nestled in McCordsville just off 86th Street and a block away from Geist Reservoir, but its beautiful landscape and unique décor make you think you’re in Napa Valley. Acres of vines surround the winding driveway as you approach the building, giving you a sense of privacy and exclusivity.

Now only open for private events and their Cellar Club, Daniel’s Vineyard has an ample amount of space for any party, not just weddings. With multiple rooms, a wraparound fully-weatherproofed balcony, outdoor patios (yes, multiple!), two kitchens, bride and groom suites and a gorgeous tasting room – Nearly 1000 guests can fit inside Daniel’s Vineyard, and they can accommodate even more guests outdoors.  Daniel’s Vineyard is a great place to mingle with co-workers for a networking event or celebrate with your new in-laws.

“We’ve had some very creative clients come up with some unique flow concepts: hosting an indoor wedding ceremony in the upper banquet facility, followed by cocktail hour on the balcony; then dinner downstairs in the lower banquet. After dinner, guests went back upstairs where the room was flipped cocktail party style with highboy and bistro tables for the reception with an incredible band!” Said Chelsei Pace, Event Manager at Daniel’s Vineyard. Pace gave the staff at Catering by Jonathan Byrd’s a full tour of the facility and we were incredibly impressed by all the extra details Daniel’s Vineyard has to offer.

In the modern era of eye-catching accent pieces and selfie photo-ops, Daniel’s Vineyard takes all of that to the next level with unique works of art, accenting light fixtures, and making good use of every opportunity.

When you enter through the front doors of the Daniel’s Vineyard building, you’ll see their famous, award-winning “Most Instagrammable” wall. A lush hedge row reads “Sip, Savor, Repeat” in neon lights, a great photo op for guests. To the left is their ultra-cool tasting room. A large wine bar runs most of the length of the room and is accented with unique lighting fixtures and beautiful views of the vineyard. Events often have cocktail hour here before making their way to the main event upstairs.

Downstairs also features the Lower Banquet Facility. This sizable room is open and easily adjustable, and is commonly used for indoor wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and “Pour it Forward” trivia nights. Trivia Night is once a month and proceeds go to a local non-profit.

Upstairs is where the party really starts. You’ll be captivated by the amazing stairwell. Right in the center of the building, floor to ceiling is a display of wine and casks. It is just another example of the incredible art and photo ops that Daniel’s Vineyard is known for.  The Upper Banquet Area has a wooden floor, white painted brick walls, and a black ceiling with a grand chandelier. This is the space that will impress your guests, no matter the occasion. With such neutral walls, you can really make this room anything you want it to be, it is the perfect combination of farmhouse rustic and Hollywood elegance.

Pace loves this room for its versatility as well as some of the cool audio-visual features, not just in this room, but in the entire facility.  “In our tasting room, lower banquet, upper banquet and upstairs/downstairs entryways, we have Philip’s Hue lighting installed. This is definitely one of the coolest features – event lighting is expensive and having the ability to change the mood without changing the budget is key. Some of our other features are in-house audio in every room, advanced AV features in the upper banquet facility, panoramic vineyard views from windows throughout the facility and so much more!”

The upstairs also features a bride and grooms suite. The Bridal Suite is old Hollywood, with director chairs and lighted vanities, you’ll feel like a celebrity while you prepare for you big day and sip on mimosas from the wet bar. The groom’s suite is a rustic lounge that overlooks all the tanks, barrels, and bottles in the production facility.

And although our focus has mainly been on weddings, Daniel’s Vineyard is also a great spot for a corporate party or networking events. Although they’re not open to the public anymore, they still have community events to participate in, such as Grape Stomp in October.

Since partnering with Daniel’s Vineyard we’ve enjoyed pairing our food with their wines and creating new dishes that feature some of their wines too.  The Daniel’s Vineyard team has been excited to partner with Catering by Jonathan Byrd’s as well. “We love the awesome level of professionalism and attention we’ve experienced from the whole Jonathan Byrd’s team!” Said Pace. “We select our partners carefully and we love working with Jonathan Byrds.”

So raise a glass and let us toast to a long and plentiful partnership with Daniel’s Vineyard!
